started late, from my house, went east on scripps poway parkway. met up with some rain.

ended up being about 30 for me, 50ish for avery and paul. (garmin battery died)

did not climb TP, and took carmel valley road instead of del mar heights.

long ride. wasn't planning on it going so long, so i only took an energy bar and 1 gel, but it was really nice out after some mini showers near the beginning.
ended up using my last resort gel as well as the food i had brought and limped home.

tried out some route variations, i think i like the way i went, want to try it again.
got a tip from a rider i ran into on the 101, that elcamino real/la costa has some nice climbing.

rear cassette/derailuer something makes some grindy noises when wet.
